Both my parents live here, both with complex care needs. They have lived there for 2 years each. I am beyond impressed with the care staff, nurses and the manager/deputy manager. Nothing is too much trouble and my parents are dealt with with respect, empathy and kindness. The carers are always on the look out for little ways to improve mum’s quality of life (she has severe dementia) and we were recently supported by a nurse so I could take Dad away overnight I’m selfcatered accommodation to visit old friends. Highly recommend. |

my father Mr Leslie Jellicoe has been in the home for 12 months but died mon 7th dec,
The time spent in the home he was very happy indeed.the nurses the careers were second to none.i his son visited every day,the care he received was excellent.over the last 12 months he was involved with all the activities provided, early spring planting seeds for the garden.going on canal boat rides in summer.engaging with all in house activities bingo on a regular basis, indoor bowls, and also various events put on during the year.
unfortunately was looking forward to Christmas but never made it.his end of life care was managed on an excellent basis the nurses involved were a credit to there profession, with dignity and very caring manner he never suffered. .i loved my father very much and thanks to all for all the love patience.
