Sep 25 2017 I cannot praise Eric Williams Care Home in Coventry enough - it effectively saved my Mum's life! The love and care she has received since being there from ALL of the Staff is phenomenal. In Oct 2016 , we nearly lost Mum - her weight dropped to 43Kg and she was admitted to Hospital and discharged to Eric Wiliams in November - she now weighs 54kg, and is taking part in all of the Activities - Bingo, Dancing, Singing, Crafts and is surrounded by busy activity. Pets are allowed to visit, which brightens everyone's day. The open plan lounges - with their combined dining, seating and small kitchens are perfect, with the bedroom coming off this like a little hub, enabling the staff allocated to the lounge to keep a caring eye on all - day and night. The staff are consistent, many have worked there for a long time, they do not wear uniforms, so the atmosphere is not clinical or medical, but Doctors, Nurses, Chiropodists etc are all on hand if ever needed. The staff take the time to really get to know each person living there - they even produce their own Life Story books. Relatives are always made to feel Welcome and visiting hours are extensive - staff take the time to get to know relatives as well - in fact it is a pleasure to visit there!
