Situated near the river Dane in Northwich, Cheshire, Daneside Mews is a purpose built 34 bedded care home offering Dementia care.
Meet the team
At HC-One our experienced Home Managers and members of staff ensure kindness is at the heart of everything we do.
We understand that meals are a very important part of our Residents’ day, our menus cover a variety of choices for each meal and a choice of snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments are also available 24 hours a day.
Family and friends join Residents for meals which are served in one of our dining rooms or, if our Residents wish, they can choose to eat in the privacy of their own rooms.
Hobbies and interests
Our Activities Co-ordinator spends time with Residents to ensure popular pastimes are included within the weekly activities calendar which is displayed in the home, this includes:
• Professional entertainers
• Birthday celebrations
• Seasonal events
We have regular outings to local places of interest including the library, local parks and the nearby Salt Museum.
Many of our Residents find the one-on-one time with our members of staff particularly enjoyable.
Outdoor areas
Our attractive courtyard garden is a great place for garden enthusiasts who enjoy helping to keep the outdoor area looking good.
The open and secure patio area and summer house complete with comfortable seating provides tranquillity for Residents to relax or socialise with family and friends.

May 19 2018 It's 5 weeks now since we lost Mum & still can't believe that she's not with us. Myself & my Grandson were invited to join all @ Daneside Mews in their celebrations for the Royal Wedding. The home looked amazing, decorated to perfection as always, very well done to the whole team. The entertainment was spot on as usual, this time it was a musician who had the residents dancing & singing along with the carers, They were really enjoying themselves with his singing. As usual we were made very welcome, what a pity that there were only a couple of us visiting & that other residents hadn't had visitors to join them in their celebration. Never the less all the residents had a wonderful time & the dining room was set up wonderfully with the Union Jacks & fancy serviettes in a right Royal display, for their Royal Buffet tea. Thank you so much for inviting us, you made an outstanding impression as usual.

Thanks to the management & their "helpers" for another fun filled afternoon. We came away with lots of chocolate goodies. Such a lovely atmosphere for everyone. Also I would like to thank all the lovely carers who work tirelessly from morning till night & then the night staff throughout the night, to look after our loved ones. I can't think of a more caring staff to be a part of our lives. As a family we never have a moment when we have to worry about our lovely Mum being safe & well looked after. There are times when she isn't well but her well being is first & foremost by the staff. A Dr is called if necessary & treatment sorted. She is treated as if she is their Grandparent & really loved, as are the other residents. The staff are always happy & nothing is ever too much trouble for them . They are kept clean & well fed, the entire building is kept spotless & never smells of unpleasant odours. You can call unannounced day or night & you are always welcomed. Thank you for giving us peace of mind xxx

I cannot express how well she is looked after. She is treated like a queen, well & truly spoilt. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her carers, who are always happy & friendly.. She is kept clean, well fed & warm. She has a good sized room which ihas it's own en suite toilet & wash basin. Iher bedroom is very light & spacious & which is always clean. The bedding is changed every day, (2 or more times if necessary) as are Mum's clothes. The meals are good & appetising, with more than one course every meal time., with drinks & snacks between meals. I have no worries about Mum's care & we can visit unannounced whenever we want to. Dad spends every day with Mum & has his mid day meal with her. I visit every day because the atmosphere is so nice & friendly & I feel that eveny visitor is treated like they are part of their family. Thank you to all @ Daneside Mews for your dedicated love & care.
