FWhilst in this home my father was badly Beaten by another resident due to information not being passed down to staff. He also had numerous falls. Two on the day he was to be moved. ended up with him in hospital and due to complications was there two weeks.
One side of complex seems quite nice, but other side is poorly staffed by people who all know each other or are related. No chance of whistle blowing although certain staff were happy to tell residents families Safeguarding concerns and events. Not exactly faith building for people whose family members live there.
My father has been removed now |

I have a relative who has been here for just a year who I have visited several times a week, every week and in my opinion the standards have fallen drastically until recently. All of a sudden staff and management are more attentive and seem to be going overboard to put things right! Staff are kind but do not seem to have any support or guidance and some do not appear to know how to deal with dementia. The attention to personal care is lacking and care of clothing atrocious! Staff morale always seems poor and complaints about management not listening are often heard. |
