Feb 12 2014 All too often lately the national news is full of stories about the appalling state of elderly care in care homes. With this in mind I want to celebrate the outstanding care given by one of Bridport’s local care homes, namely Coneygar Lodge. We lost our aged Nan Mary at the weekend – she had spent her declining years living at Coneygar. Her care was exemplary throughout her stay – she was treated with kindness, respect and unfailing compassion right to the end. Thank you to all the staff at Coneygar Lodge for doing a difficult job so very well. S&T Page
