Dad is partially sighted and has been going to The Princess Alexandra home, for a week of respite, several times a year for 4 years. The home is very clean and there is no smell, which is so often associated with care homes. The rooms are basic, but comfortable, and the ensuite facility is invaluable, for someone who has sight difficulties. We have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Food is one of dad’s main pleasures and he is always complimentary about the quality and the quantity. The dining room is airy and bright. We are very satisfied with the care he receives. |
