Mar 31 2015 My foster brother Graham lives at this house and has lived there for many years. Graham couldn't be happier he has more holidays and a better social life than i do. He phones us on a regular basis and the staff support him by travelling with him to Liverpool a couple of times a year to visit all his family. They have taught him so much over the years and are spot on whenever Graham has an epileptic fit and always follow things on by checking his medication doesn't need increasing or changing in any way. Graham is also partially sighted and they have worked hard on making sure he gets out and about as much as anyone else.Graham prefers to live there as he feels very independent even though he has support from staff he gets to make his own choices and decisions in his life. I cannot praise the staff and thank them enough for all that they do for and with Graham. Thank you. Karen Pine & the rest of the family

I like going to places like the pub and Church, I've joined the Choir. I like the people I live with. I like going with staff to the football to watch Harrogate Town and I am excited about going to the WWE wrestling in Leeds in April. I've been to London, Durham and Scotland on the train and coach on holiday with staff. My Keyworker went with me on the train to Liverpool to go and visit my family. I like to go up to Knaresborough to get my groceries to cook with them. I go to work at Henshaws Arts and Crafts Centre. I do IT at Henshaws College and cooking. I've learnt the mobility route to Arts and Craft Centre and to Church with Nic. I'm enjoying doing it.
