Care Home Information |
The Grange vision is to support people with disabilities to live a rich and fulfilling life. Its support and care workers help people to build up their confidence and self-esteem and every success is celebrated - whether catching a bus for the first time, cooking lunch or trying out a work placement. The service is unique in the region offering residential care, supported living and a wide-ranging programme of skills training and activities all on one site. For those able to live more independently, The Grange also has an off-site supported living service. There is a choice of residential care accommodation with 24/7 staffing or supported living in small flats, which are both situated on a beautiful eight-acre site and in nearby Bookham and Epsom. Service users can take part in a wide range of skills training from retail skills in shops to creative arts, catering and horticulture. Activities include drumming, indoor golf, swimming and trampolining, as well as outings to local clubs. At The Grange people move on from residential care to supported living in the community. |

My brother moved to The Grange at the end of 2014 and is very happy there. The Grange is a great improvement on the previous care home he lived at. It is well run and the staff all seem to have worked there many years, so there is a lot of continuity for the residents and the place has a very friendly and caring feel to it. My brother and his family are very pleased that he moved to The Grange. |

I feel there can be few better places than The Grange for those who are in need of care and support to live with dignity. There is choice for the residents and their opinions and requests are valued and fed into the individual's care plan. As a parent I have confidence that my dughter is well cared for and well supported. |
