Care Home Information |
Oakcroft House is situated in a delightful residential area within walking distance of the thriving village of West Byfleet and only three and a half miles from Woking. The Care Quality Commission awarded this home a prestigious three-star excellent - the highest rating possible. The care we offer > Oakcroft House offers several different types of care that depend on the needs of each resident. We offer long-term, nursing care, respite, day care, convalescent care and post-operative care. We also care for young physically disabled people and for those with Parkinsons disease or who have experienced a brain injury. We employ dedicated, well trained staff, to provide 24-hour care and support in a professional and respectful way. Key features of Oakcroft House > An imposing building, originally a private residence built by the famous Edwardian architect WG Tarrant in 1906, Oakcroft House has been tastefully extended and modernised with elegant furnishings, while retaining a homely atmosphere. The location is delightful - the house is well set back from the road, and the secluded garden makes it seem as if it is in the countryside. Bedrooms > All bedrooms are ensuite, and some have pretty garden views. All have a smoke detector, remote controlled television, 24-hour nurse call system and thermostatic radiators. We encourage residents to personalise their rooms and make them feel more like home by bringing in their own belongings such as ornaments, pictures and small items of furniture. |

Before placing my father at Oakcroft house I did a lot of research into similar nursing Homes and I have absolutely no regrets regarding the decision I made.
The Home Manager, the Head of Care and every member of staff were thoroughly professional, caring and supportive to my father and to myself and my wife. |

We couldn't have asked for more from a competent, caring staff who treated my Mum with respect and dignity to the very end. The Matron was very approachable, and offered reassurance and advice to both Mum and the family on several occasions. We are so grateful to all involved, and reassured to know Mum's final weeks were spent in such a comforting and safe environment. |
