Dec 10 2018 My mum went into the woodlands in 2013, she went in frail , unable to walk and full of bedsores from a local hospital, and soon after her transfer she was up and about. all the bedsores had disappeared, and she was full of life. The care delivered by the staff at Woodlands is of a very high standard, they deliver individualised personal care, with care ,empathy and positive regard, giving dignity and respect. The staff do activities, they have party’s inviting families and carers, and even decorate the residents bedrooms with hand painted pictures, creating a sensory environment for those affected with dementia Like my mum. Every staff member is pleasant and has a positive ,caring ,patient Centered approach. Mum has recently passed away , but only for the staff here at Woodlands in Netherley, they extended her life for another, 5 1/2 years , she passed away at 86 years of age. The staff here at woodlands have helped us so much over the years , they have touched our hearts, and will never be forgotten.
