My mum was a resident in Marston Court residential home for four and a half years. I was extremely impressed with the quality of care that she received. She was always treated with dignity and respect. Mum loved her food and the food was always beautifully presented and served. The activities coordinators were very good and made sure that there were plenty of social activities organised to keep the residents active in mind and body. As a family we liked the fact that we could visit at any time and we could make ourselves and mum a cup of tea.It was home from home. The fact that it is right next door to a small nature reserve was a bonus in good weather as we could take mum out for a walk. I would have no hesitation in recommending Marston Court. |

My mother lived at Marston Court for 6 years and died there recently, aged 93. She had vascular dementia which became progressively worse over the years but at no point was I worried about the quality of care she received. She was treated with kindness and understanding by the Marston Court staff and I felt the people who worked closely with her were outstanding. Always really friendly and considerate to us as her family too,
Marston Court has an excellent staff member who is responsible for resident entertainment (eg regular singers and musicians that my mother loved), which is so important for elderly people confined to a care home.
A really lovely home in which to end her days. |
