My mother went to Eaglewood on Fosse ward from Hospital. She had been discharged from hospital where they were going to put her onto palliative care as end of life. The care was excellent and my mother is now a permanent resident at another of the PJ Care nursing homes where she has been for over 9 months. The hospital had written her off, the staff at PJ Care cared so well for her we expect her to be with us for many months to come. We want to thank all the staff who cared for her, but especially the staff at Fosse who became extended family for her time with them. |

My father-in-law has been in this home for almost four months and his health and quality of life have improved dramatically compared to his arrival from hospital. The staff are very thoughtful and caring towards him and all our family. Eagle Wood is first class nursing home. |

My Mother in Law was transferred to Eagle Wood for her Palliative care in March last year. throughout this difficult time the carers and nurses at Eagle Wood, particularly those on Cedar Unit, were incredible, the care and affection they showed, not just to Irene, my mother-in-law, but to her children was outstanding, and really helped her family manage their grief.
The carers worked with my wife and her family through Irene's palliative care and even afterwards.
The building itself is beautiful too, with lots of space and although it is still new it gives the impression it will be well cared for and remain in good condition for a long time.
A great place with great staff. |
