Apr 7 2015 As a family we found it distressing having to decide to turn a respite break into permanent care for our Mother. It was the best decision we ever made. The first time I went to view Whitefriars it felt warm, happy and extremely welcoming. The staff did a marvelous job in showing me around and crushing any worries I had and I felt immediately it was the right place to be for Mum to be happy and well cared for. All staff are extremely hard working and respectful in every way. The service and care Whitefriars deliver is second to none. I visit and come away knowing Mum is well cared for in every respect of her wellbeing. If has given my mother a reason to enjoy life again. I would thank each and every one of them for being part of that.

The home is just 15 minutes’ walk from Stamford town centre, which is convenient for visiting and will make a good day out for the residents come the summer. When we ask him how he is getting on he constantly says how wonderful the food is, and passes comments about one or two of his favourite carers. The staff are professional and welcoming…my uncle is well cared for… so would recommend.
