Aug 20 2016 I'm "the brother" from the above review..and it's all true..I visit every week ..at random..and in nearly 3 years I have never seen anything other than care, respect and attention to the residents. The staff are brilliant..friendly, helpful and attentive...always cheerful..we have had several hospital trips with Mum and had a carer with us..they are great!. Fantastic support. .It's not "posh"..It's not "trendy"..It's just comfortable,clean, homely...and where I'd be happy to come ( if needed!)

My mum has now been in here for over two years ( she is now 87 yrs old ) and initially did not want to be in a care home or anywhere other than her own home, however she is now comfortable and happy with her time here. The staff are fantastic, caring and very down to earth. My brother and I, for the first time in years, have been able to relax about our lovely mum being cared for and in safe hands. She has her own little room with her own personal belongings in. It is kept very clean and laundry is done daily for them. They provide a special, hospital bed because of her injury some years ago. The food isn't posh or fussy but nutritional, basic and really what elderly people want but they can have any food food delivered to the home if they want something else. There is entertainment laid on some days. A hairdresser comes in weekly. A dentist and an optician comes in throughout the year to check up on them. I would most definitely recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a care home that they could trust with a member of their own family.
