Larchfield provides residential, nursing or dementia care for older people. We offer a high standard of individual care and support and provide modern nursing facilities in a homely and comfortable atmosphere.
We enable people to maintain lifestyles that are as similar as possible to those enjoyed at home. We encourage regular interaction with the local community, including contact with friends, family and local groups. We encourage friends and family to be involved through regular visits and participation at special activities, events and open days.
The provision of tailored, personalised care to every person who stays with us is vitally important and we involve people in developing and reviewing their own bespoke care plan.
We encourage people to increase their independence through a range of stimulating and motivating activities. Our activities co-ordinator organises daily activities as well as day trips out, reading sessions, card and quiz games, which residents can choose to participate in.
Professionals such as beauticians, chiropodists and physiotherapists visit the home regularly and we have an in-house hairdressing salon for the hairdresser who visits weekly. The Church of England and Roman Catholic Church provide regular services at our home. We are able to accommodate any religious services and observations residents choose to follow.
Our experienced catering team ensures that meal times are flexible and a choice of menu is available. All dietary requirements are catered for. Room service is also offered as an option and visitors are welcome to join residents for meals. |
