May 13 2016 I felt Primrose area was noisy particularly at night. The doors to rooms with noisy residents were invariably open. At one point of an hours nurse help in a stentorian voice, I closed the door only to be told by a member of staff it had to be left open. One night I was awakened at 4.30am another 3,15am by residents shouting, It was worse than my six weeks stay in the hospital.

Dec 16 2015 Following a broken hip , my 92 year old Mother made the decision to stay permanently at Athelstan House. Since moving there she has been extremely happy, joining in many things. She sometimes finds she hasnt got enough time in the day to fit everything in.

My Father needed care for Parkinsons and both his medication and personal care have been exemplary. The staff are charming and gentle with the residents and pay great attention to detail.
