Northview Lodge Care Home

I visited Northview Lodge recently and found the management and staff most helpful, caring and understanding. The environment was clean and welcoming, staff are approachable and nothing was to much trouble, the treat residents with individuality, food served was served appropriately and in a timely manner, giving everyone a choice. I would highly recommend this home and know you family member would be cared for like you would care for them in there own home. Well done to the manager for having such a caring team

Northview lodge is a special kind of home, it stands out different from the rest - it's one of the few young person mental health homes left in England. The home has recently been refurbished to a high standard and has all new equipment to make every resident as comfortable as possible. But what really makes the home unique is the staff, from the moment you arrive you just feel welcome, you can really see the care and support they provide, helping all the residents maintain there dignity and self respect. The staff just really seem to care greatly and at the end of the day if your leaving your loved one in the care of another - that's what you are looking for. The home bonuses from having highly qualified mental health/general nurses that are on shift daily 24/7 and many experienced support staff. Northview also have an activities co-ordinated who's sole responsibility is to organise daily entertainment, this could be anything from arts and crafts to outings to the beach or a picnic, there's always something simulating going on that all residents have the choice to participate in. The home also takes the time to organise a yearly holiday to either Blackpool or Skegness or even for the lucky few that are able abroad holidays. This shows how deadicated the staff are, taking time out of there own lives for little extra to give all residents the chance to maintain a normal life. What can I say northview really is a home that makes a difference - please take a visit and see for yourself. It truly is a high proforming home with exceptional staff and management.

I recently visited Northview Lodge, i was very impressed by the lovely welcome by the staff. The home is decorated beautifully and sparkling clean abd well maintained throughout.. There was a homely atmosphere by that i mean it really was like a big happy family home, There was lots going on with the activity coordinanor and residents of all abilities getting involved, was so nice to see. Its a beautiful home well staffed in every level and residents seemed very happy and well cared for. High standard hone five stars.
