Cornford House provides accommodation along with nursing and personal care for up to 70 people. The service provides personal and nursing care and has a dementia unit that can accommodate up to 18 people.
The home provides accommodation for residents with nursing care needs and& it offers a choice of& either studio or& one bedroom care suites, or& nursing home bedrooms.
Most of the accommodation is for physically frail older people& but the home also incorporates& a specialist unit to care for older people with dementia type illnesses.& Full 24 hour nursing care is available for all residents, so that most residents can have a home for life within the scheme. Residents& spouses can also be accommodated, so that couples can stay together even when one develops the need for on-going care.
Cornford House focuses on& providing relationship-centred care and so& a high priority is given to& fostering and nurturing relationships between residents, their family and friends and the healthcare professionals who work in and visit the home.

Mar 23 2018 Mum received excellent care from every member of your staff. Their professional friendly manner gave us, her family peace of mind and confidence that she was being well cared for 24 hours a day. Although Mum had dementia staff understood her needs and made her feel at home very quickly. When visiting you always felt welcome as no matter who you saw they all said hello. Thank you you are an amazing team.
