Meresworth

Meresworth - part of the Quantum Care group -& is a purpose-built care home for 51 older people. We are located in Rickmansworth near to local shops and have good transport connections via both the Metropolitan Line tube and the M25.

We provide care for people with a range of health needs and two of our four living areas are dedicated to caring for those living with dementia. The home is accredited by Hertfordshire County Council to provide specialist dementia care, and has to undergo a rigorous annual evaluation process in order to achieve that status. We also have two rooms reserved for people who are looking for short stays. All rooms have en-suite facilities and come equipped with a telephone, TV socket and call bell system.

Our qualified Chef Manager runs a modern kitchen and is able to offer a varied diet, catering for special requirements.

We have a dedicated activities team who provide a range of activities to do including musical movement, aromatherapy and craft sessions amongst many others. We also have a very active “friends” group who provide help and support with fundraising and events.

Our in-house Day Service provides care for up to ten local people. This vital service provides the stimulation, friendship and support needed to enable people to stay in their own home for longer.
