Jan 28 2018 A great little residential care home; obviously not purpose built, so some parts are a little cosy & tired. But, the most important thing to think about is the fantastic care and support that these residents receive. The home baked food is delicious and hard to resist, the activities co-ordinator takes person centred care to another level! Overall the perfect residential care home!

Oct 29 2015 I was amazed when I read the first review on this site...it does not describe my experience My mother has been a resident since June 2014. The reason we chose this residential care home was due to staff attitude. They are caring and friendly. Dealing with a v difficult client group in an empathetic and considerate way. Each resident has their own little ways/habits and these are dealt with compassionately. The home has recently come under new management and improvements continue. Rooms are upgraded as they become vacant. Communal areas have new flooring and seating. Staff are attending courses to improve their understanding of the client group they are caring for. ...and to put the record straight...the fees remain the same

There was no smell as there were all new floors and chairs. Staff were very friendly and the care my mum receives is second to none. A big thank you to the staff my mum looks so well since she moved into the home. I would recommend Gresley house to any one who is looking for care for their loved ones
