Jul 25 2019 My mum has been a resident at Brook House for just over a month now and we could not recommend more highly. The home is just that, all the staff are lovely are highly motivated nothing is too much trouble. My mum has dementia, had a hip replacement just before Christmas and had been in another home before going into Brook House, where she spent all day in bed, other than meal times and had a catheter. She was very depressed, however within a day at Brook House, she was walking around with a frame and joining in with other residents she has lived there just over a month now and she seems happier then she has been for a long time. She is now catheter free, walking around everywhere and most of all, happy to call Brook House home. We are a big family as I have 5 sisters and one brother and I know I speak for all of them when I say a big thank you to Brook House. You have given my mum her life back and you have given us our mum back, thank you

She had just been diagnosed with terminal Cancer and is paralysed, so needs a great deal of nursing and help. It is a very clean and tastefully furnished, but best of all is a very light and airy place which was very important to mum, and my sister and I.The staff are wonderful with mum, so cheerful and caring, and her dignity is utmost in everything they do for her. For us all, it has been a very traumatic time, but everyone at Brook House do everthing possible to make mum comfortable and happy. We know that her time is short, but we are so very thankful to all for their hard work, care and sense of fun they bring to mums days.My sister visits mum everyday and loves that everyone is so friendly, and that nothing she asks to be done for mum is too much trouble.For myself living in Australia, knowing that mum is being so well cared for brings me a great deal of peace, and the staff are wonderful at dashing in to connect mum to Facetime/Skype when I ring her I-pad... thank you.
