By: Anonymous Rating:.. Sep 25 2018 My father was resident at Farway Grange for two years and I cannot recommend the home highly enough. 'Home' is the right word because it really felt like one to us and was a sharp contrast from the experience of seeing dad in the hospital. Dad's room was really lovely, which was important as he lost mobility. Care was always attentive but not obtrusive and I came to recognise the staff as they checked on my father and re-positioned him. Carers were always patient with Dad and would always do their best to engage with him and make him smile. Dad could be a bit of a fussy eater but the staff always made efforts to accommodate him where possible, even when it meant getting some extra pudding!
