Very happy with the care my Mother receives. She entered Richmondwood just before Christmas with some anxiety and settled in a few weeks into a happy routine. This was because of the attention and care of the staff who, without exception, show friendship and empathy to the residents. There is always a calm and peaceful atmosphere |

My Mother has been resident at Richmondwood for two years and says she is happy there and the staff are all kind and caring. She was very unwell when she arrived and they fed her (by hand to start with(and got her back to good health. She has dementia which seems to be getting worse and needs constant prompting. Since she has been at Richmondwood, more very dependent residents have arrived which must be a great strain on the staff who do not have the time (or energy I would think) to give time to the residents to help stimulate them and encourage them to be more active both physically and mentally. The staff all do excellent work and are always cheerful and helpful |

I had the privilege of helping a lady of 98 years to have to move near to her relatives from London. They found this care home. I have visited every month during the last year and a half. The care of the home has more than met my expectations in the way they treat residents, keep informing us of their needs.
The staff are happy and seem not to change which makes for a family atmosphere. The way they provide something most days for residents, whether staff or someone coming in to sing or other entertainment. They also take them out on trips, if they are able to go. They always welcome visits at whatever time we can make it. I find it a pleasure to visit and can see how happy my friend is. I would say thank you to them for her care. |
