- Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital has established itself as one of the leading providers of healthcare, serving patients from Brentwood, Billericay, Basildon, Romford and the surrounding parts of Essex since 1970. We also attract a number of patients from further afield, including those who work in and commute to London.

Our £5m refurbishment is in the final phase. We have stylish, modern reception and Out-patient reception areas, all our Out-patient consulting rooms now have air conditioning.
Our inpatient bedrooms have been fully refurbished, as well as having a bright and modern Ward reception area.
Between the months of June 2013 - October 2013, our patient satisfaction surveys showed that patients rated the care and attention they received between 96%-99% as “excellent” or “very good”.
We are conveniently located near to Brentwood town centre and mainline railway stations.

What areas are treated by liposuction?
Liposuction is commonly used to treat patients who are near normal weight and have firm elastic skin. It is not a substitution for weight loss. Common areas treated are:
Stomach
Hips
Thighs
Buttocks
Knees
Neck
Upper arms
Male breasts
What happens during liposuction?
Your consultant will assess your overall health, skin quality and the amount of fat to be removed before talking you through what approach will be used.
Various types of anaesthesia are used during liposuction. If only small areas of fat are to be removed you may have local anaesthetic. More extensive surgery may require general anaesthetic. The length of your liposuction procedure will depend on the amount of fat being removed.
Your surgeon will make a small incision in the skin. Using a thin, hollow tube they will break up the fat cells beneath the skin surface and remove them with a special suction or vacuum. Several incisions may be required for larger areas. Any incisions will be stitched at the end of the procedure. The area will be bandaged for support.Hospital Consultants Specialties :

May 27 2023 I was treated with the upmost respect and dignity when attending Nuffield Brentwood. I was looked after so well and nothing was to much trouble, I felt so safe and felt so cared for which I have never felt before going into hospital. Thank you
