As a new 'Smiles' patient, I received emergency treatment for 2 days running due to pain. Although the first visit the pain was not too bad, the dentist did not diagnose the start of an abcess. Second visit with a different dentist in severe pain, abcess diagnosed and antibiotics prescribed. Both visits were charged at 55 pounds. My complaint is the amount of money charged for the limited time allotted to make a diagnosis. I feel undervalued as a 'smiles' patient as earlier in the year, I was entitled to a 25 minute hygienist appointment but had a 12 minute treatment as the hygienist was running late |

My treatment was excellent as usual,BUT when I came to pay for the highgenist, I was asked very apoligetorily for a deposit for my next appointment! I have never been asked for a deposit for an appointment in the last 81 years, and I find this practice unacceptable and offensive. I have always kept my appointment on time, and to be asked because “other people” have failed to turn up is astonishing. If they do not turn up they should not be given another appointment unless there was a good reason for their failure, but to punish everyone seems quite unnecessary. |

:I was booked in the same day I called and John Cavanagh was brilliant. Reassured me I didn't need a filling just spend time using a tepe brush instead. A couple of x-rays later and out the door, one very happy patient. John C thank you. |
