Their attitude is count yourself lucky to get this treatment on the nhs, Parents not allowed in with their children, the children terrified as the orthodontist was not about to waste time explaining to them what they were about to do and never listened to what the children had to say about concerns, but most of the time the children were so intimidated they were too scared to speak. Always rushed, 1 minute appointments. Braces taken off after less than a year and the children told it is their fault if the teeth move back as can't be wearing their nighttime retainers (they were!) |

I've taken both of my Teenagers to see this Orthodontist. I have been very impressed with the level of care and professionalism that I see. Caring and considerate, treating my lads with dignity and respect. I would recommend this Orthodontist and do so regularly. |

We agreed to let our daughter have a bonded retainer. It cost a huge £500. What a mistake! The orthodontist couldn't get the treatment over with quick enough. They didn't speak to us other than a vague 'you know the cost is £500?'. The orthodontist slammed the moulds into the poor girls mouth with no warning or explanation of what they were doing. The final result left her speaking with a lisp & in great discomfort. We were unable to get a follow up appointment as all dentists were out when we needed to go & our daughter was about to go away to university. The practice manager phoned the orthodontist who said they were happy with their work. Our daughter went to an orthodontist near the uni & he was horrified! Cement on her gums, huge blobs of it on the teeth, it took three visits to have it all removed.....and the orthodontist was happy with their work?!
£500 down the drain. Avoid this practice at all costs! |
