Clapham Family Practice

After being referred by a healthcare professional to a GP I was unable to book an appointment for 14 days. On Arrival at Clapham family practice at the Manor health centre there are several signs plastered on the walls saying the doctor will only see you for one condition per consultation and each consultation lasts 10 minutes. After my 14 day wait My consultation lasted 6 minutes - the doctor referred me to a specialist but did not even take the time to ask me about all my symptoms I was staggered could not get me out of the door quick enough finally the appointment with the hospital has come through in 112 days time Clearly the doctor did not consider the referral was urgent however it’s difficult to understand how we came to this decision when he didn’t bother asking me about all of symptoms. I don’t blame this on NHS funding et cetera before the surgery merged with the Clapham family practice it Was regularly possible to get an appointment within 48 hours maximum. I do not recommend that anyone registered with this practice which got a terrible name locally. The doctors are abrupt to the point of rudeness.
