Receptionist I spoke too in person very rude that's why they have that screen so you don't strangle them |

My mum tried and failed repeatedly to get a appointment at this surgery, she was promised a phone appointment which she never received, she attended A&E and was referred back to her GP, who on receiving the referral from the hospital closed down the case as no further action required with no explanation. It was then not possible to speak with this doctor in order to get an explanation, it was also still impossible to see any doctor. My mum then changed doctors, got an appointment straight away, on seeing her, they sent her straight to hospital where she died 10 days later of terminal cancer. This surgery is an absolute disgrace, the doctors are incompetent, and the staff rude and sarcastic. Avoid at all costs. |

I have finally read many reviews about Lower Stondon Surgery that proves I am not on my own. They are currently on 2.4 stars and I am not surprised after my experience with them. Just like previous patients, its impossible to get a appointment. I have been there in person and told there is no appointments and to ring at 08.00 in the morning. I have tried several times ringing them in the morning with long waiting times before they answer the phone again with the same result, no appointments. Today was the final straw for me, again ringing them with a long wait and then to be told to go on the Surgery App, to make a Appointment. There was one on the 8th February and four other 9th February. I thought finally, I open the app go to appointments and all it said was , DISABLED! I am not proud of myself and I telephoned the Surgery back and joined the que again number 22,after about 1hour and 10 minutes . I spoke to the same Receptionist (KIM), I said that the app was Disabled. Kim just brushed it off and said ring tomorrow at 0.800 again. Honestly so Rude, I lost my temper with her, as she refused to help and eventually threatening to put the phone down on me and she did. I am not proud of myself, but it's so frustrating. It seems they have lost the concept of there position, I always thought they were there to make there patients feel better and make them well. Not cause there patients Stress and Anxiety and blood pressure going through the roof!!!! |
