I’ve taken fexofenadine every day for the past 8 years but when I’ve asked for a 3-6 month prescription I’m treated like I’m asking for Methadone. I’ve had 6 month prescriptions at previous GP surgeries with no problem. The receptionists treat you like you have nothing better to do than continuously ring, I don’t think they realise people have jobs and busy lives. iMed pharmacy has had to issue me emergency fexofenadine because the surgery failed twice to send the prescription across. I was told on the phone by a GP that I probably had diabetes. When I rung again for an update I was told that my blood test results negate that possibility. I’ve been in contact for a year for the exact same skin complaint. For some reason they won’t refer me to a dermatologist despite not knowing what is actually wrong. The nurse also loves sermonising. I went in for a flu jab and asthma review last year and it took 40 minutes because she spent the whole time giving me unsolicited life advice. When I went in for a cervical screening earlier this year, she spent 20 minutes, again, giving me unsolicited life advice, when the procedure and medical questions took less than 5 minutes. |
