Why is it that I am no1 in the queue (for an hour) when trying to get test results? This is absolute rubbish, receptionists do not take over an hour on the telephone to pass on test results. I imagine the phone just gets switched over keeping people hanging on just because they can't be bothered to answer the telephone... Would also like to know why it is that patients cannot use the toilet at the surgery? When an 80 year old lady asked if she could use the loo ( as there is an artificial plant in front of the loo door) she was told she could not use it as the receptionist has to then clean it. WTF is going on with this place? |

I have read the previous reviews and can only say that I have never experienced any of the issues mentioned in a couple of them. I have been with the practice all of my life (59 years) and can honestly say that the service and staff are first rate.
Understandably appointments can be difficult to arrange for when you want, but I have always been advised that spaces may be available "On the day" if I ring at 8.30 / 12.30.
I find the doctors very informative and supportive, going that extra mile for me on more than one occasion (e.g. going back to the Health Trust to support my request for elective surgery). I have also been phoned by GP's in response to queries rather than having to attend surgery (so everyone benefits!).
Very sad the number of people not turning up for appointments without contacting the surgery - are people aware that there is a 24 hour online service (also gives access to test results).
Keep up The good work! |
