I have been registered here for about 2 years now and I find this surgery one of the hardest places to get an appointment with sometimes having to book 3 - 4 weeks in advance, it mostly has part time doctors so it does limit and how much surgery time they have being around 3 hours a day. Don't get me wrong they do have some very good and lovely doctors but one of them stands out as being very unsympathetic and uncaring which happens to be the only male doctor who I avoid at all costs. The Roebuck site went under a recent referb which has made the place better compared to before but not by much. | ||||||

I received a voicemail asking me to call the surgery, not urgent. I did. I was told I needed to be booked in for a blood test, and blood pressure test as part of the medication review process. Fine. Having failed to officiously slot me into their schedule, I think the receptionist then felt the need to patronise me, and I reacted to their failure to recognise me as an actual person on the end of the phone. "so you don't want it then, it is up to you..." yes it is, I put the phone down. Is there really a need for such rudeness? I would not recommend this surgery. My diminishing confidence in the care offered to me and my family recently has been tested yet again today. Not sure how easy it is, but will investigate moving to an alternative surgery. | ||||||
