My grandchildren have both been rather unwell in this past week, including today. There were 3 people trying to get an appointment with a doctor but to no avail. I understand that you are inundated with calls but until a person gets through there is no way that any of you answering the calls can tell the age of the patient. This, I know, causes much distress to the callers and to you yourselves. I had an idea which may be of use if it can be designed, that a call line could be dedicated just for parents with children under a certain age, of yours or the NHS decision ? I hope this idea may be put in place please. I would be interested to hear your views about this. Regards, Maura Oram. |

My husband has S been with the practice for over 70 years and now he can’t get his test resulls or get a prescription review hadbeen trying since friday for results but can’t get anywhere it’s a shambles Nt |

After returning to Maldon we had to register with a surgery in a nearby town as the 2 surgeries in Maldon had closed lists, then approx 15 months we heard that Longfields were accepting new patients, and registered with them again. I have only been to the surgery a couple times to see a doctor, and a couple of times for prescription reviews, but the service I have received has been outstanding, I realise that all NHS services are stretched to the limit and always keep that in mind. I find that by being polite and treating people with the same respect that I wish to be treated with is the answer, not by making rude and surly comments as some of the reviews on this site have.
