excellent practice. Doctor hodgkinson is a genuine caring doctor. and isn't just there for the money. she cares. 10out10 . saved my life. also the staff are all very helpful. Will go the extra Mile for you. definitely recommend my me | ||||||

Used to be a really good surgery, but it's gone seriously downhill. Just getting a prescription involves queuing outside (no seating or shelter) usually for half an hour, and often ends in being told it's not there anyway. Ever since Covid, they've just sealed themselves up inside. At the time of writing, there are no cases in the whole district, and you still have to queue in the rain while they take 10 minutes for each person in the queue. I've queued for 40 minutes in the car park only to be told a prescription that was put in nearly a week ago isn't there. Getting to see a doctor is pretty much impossible, as is getting through on the phone. Been with them for 20 years, definitely going to move to a different surgery, even if I have to drive an hour each way to get there. Real shame. | ||||||

The doctors, nurses and reception staff at this practice are outstanding. Moving here (originally from central London) was a complete revelation in terms of the care and support I have received ever since I enrolled at this Surgery (9 years now). Not only are the team extremely professional and very competent, they are all very supportive, helpful and kind - nothing is ever too much for them to handle and they have consistently always gone over and beyond in terms of their medical expertise, help and commitment to your well-being. I have a myriad of ongoing conditions and, in each and every instance, they have been correctly diagnosed, referred if/as required and they have even chased up directly with some major hospital referrals when I was unable to make any progress with obtaining suitable urgent consultations. Nothing is ever too much trouble for any of the doctors or their amazing support team and I personally cannot recommend the practice highly enough. I have experienced and heard some horror stories of surgeries elsewhere (including private London ones) but this surgery has restored my faith in how a proper doctors surgery should be run. A big thank you to ALL of the staff - I don't know what I'd do (health wise) without you all. Julie Scott | ||||||
