I contacted Market Street Surgery and on the same day as promised I had a telephone appointment with Dr Orimoloye at Market Street. On the same day as my telephone appointment the GP left a form in reception for me to collect and with that form I arranged to have my bloods taken. To be fair that took longer to arrange due to the volume of people they are dealing with. However I still arranged to have my bloods taken within 2 days of my original appointment. Within 4 working days of my original appointment with Dr Orimoloye the surgery had arranged a scan and within 3 working days of the scan I was seen by a Consultant. I have to admit that the process was so quick that it was scary however, you have to hand it to Market Street when all of the external services are in place Market Street get it right. In total the process from start to finish was less than two weeks which is the NHS Guidelines. In this instance 100% gratitude to Market Street GP's, Nurses and their helpful reception staff and not to mention the staff behind the scenes arranging scan appointments etc. I know things go wrong but I believe when Market Street are leading they get it right and a lot of the time it is some of the external services that let Market Street down. |

Changed the telephone system again now listen to 1 1/2 mins of blah blah & then told busy call back . Very strange that the last system was better they called you back after pressing 1 . Seems the receptionist run this practice & don't want to do to much . |

Although I could not book an online appointment, I managed to speak to practice staff 30 minutes after first phoning this morning. I was offered a face-to-face appointment with a GP one hour later, following which I was prescribed antibiotics. It took just 90 minutes from my first telephone contact with the practice to me picking up medication at my local chemist. Very efficient service and thanks to the staff. The NHS deserves praise. |
