Having moved house a year ago and having to change my GP from one that had looked after me for many years and with whom I was very happy I was nervous about switching. However over last 12 months I have seen a number of doctors and the nurse at this practice. Each face-to-face or phone call has been thorough and patient. I have seen Pauline the practice nurse twice in the last week following an operation and she couldn’t have been kinder. She is professional but put me at ease immediately at a time when I was feeling anxious. The staff on reception are helpful and efficient. All in all a positive experience with this practice group. |

Dear William Rofe Thank you for your message regarding Aranesp injections requesting that I contact Harefield Hospital to prescribe it for me. Would you please re-consider your decision. Please also note that transporting this medication through the long journey from Haefield Hospital to my house in London is not easy or practical, and it can easily damage the medication. It would be a lot easier and safer for me to get this from Paxton Green, as it would be a lot easier for me to transport Aranesp injections from the chemist here in London to my house. During my last appointment at Harefield with the medical registrar and the young male pharmacist, I was offered a new supply of this medication, however I declined to accept this offer, mainly because of the difficulty in transporting it through the long journey home. Please note that my anaemia is due to ciclosporin bone marrow toxicity, and during the last year I was twice admitted to Harefield Hospital, and I received blood transfusion on both occasions because of my anaemia. Please also note the Harefield Hospital have already written to Paxton Green some time last year requesting that this medication to be prescribed by Paxton Green. Would you please re-consider your decision, otherwise I may end up not using this medication at all. And let me know. I am copying this e-mail to Rita Persnail at Harefield Hospital. Regards Nazar Al-Nasiri |
