Wife is starving herself thanks to a total idiot dr at this surgery whom clearly dont read there patients history She has history of eating disorders and thanks to this place telling her she needed to lose weignt , was 9 stone .. shes now down to 6.5 . If i lose my wife ill be taking legal action considering some of the size of the staff that work in this place ...what the hell is going wrong , pick on the vulnerable .... |

Main complaint for this surgery is the staff use the minimal patient parking. There is allocated staff parking and patient parking at the surgery, but admin staff use up most of the patient parking all day leaving only the disabled parking and 1 or 2 other spaces. You see unwell children and the elderly having to park by behind the Boots and walk to the surgery. Although not far it is not convenient when unwell especially if there is parking right there for the use of patients and not staff. When mentioning it to the staff they don’t care and fob you off. |

I was unable to find somewhere to park for my appointment, not just in the practice car park but elsewhere in the village, despite arriving in what I thought was good time and ended up driving around for 20 minutes trying to do so. There was no parking whatsoever at the practice, and people had just abandoned their cars blocking in other vehicles as well so not sure what someone with mobility issues would be meant to do! When I realised I was going to be late for my appointment, I phoned the practice to tell the receptionist who said she would put a note for the doctor. When I eventually arrived, having finally managed to find somewhere and literally running to the practice, 12 minutes late, I was told by presumably the same receptionist that I was too late, that the it was a busy day etc and that was the end of that. I wasn't offered another appointment and the doctor wasn't even asked if she could see me - which seems odd, given that I was led to understand it was at the doctor's discretion. In any case, I don't think I have ever waited less than half an hour in the waiting room to see a doctor, even when I have been on time (as I usually am) so it seems quite unfair to not even ask. I note that other reviews refer to a rude and unhelpful receptionist - I cannot say she was rude, but she was certainly unhelpful. The appointment relates to a health matter which is causing me not inconsiderable pain and discomfort, hence wanting the appointment in the first place and, while I acknowledge I was late it was unavoidable and I would happily have waited. |
