In February 2015, suspecting that I had asthma, I was referred by the practice to the local hospital's airways clinic, where it was confirmed. I attended the airways clinic on 6 further occasions over the following 7 months before being referred back to my own doctor's practice. However I still continued to experience distressing symptoms. A few weeks after being referred back to my home practice, I was invited to an appointment at the practice with the practice nurse. She gave me advice and assured me that by following the advice my situation would improve dramatically. It did, and I have been little troubled by my asthmatic condition since. (As a date is required below, I have entered September 2017, the earliest selectable. In fact the actual date of the visit to the GP surgery was as given above - February 2015) | ||||||

I cannot praise Mulgrave Surgery enough. My doctor is excellent, always explains things clearly, is reassuring, and patient. She takes time to listen and her diagnoses are always spot on. Once I went in with symptoms that she recognised immediately having seen them only once before in her career. Above all, I am always treated as a person who matters, not just a statistic. I have been a patient at this surgery for over 35 years, and every doctor has made me feel very lucky to be in such safe hands. I would also like to compliment the receptionists, every one of whom is incredibly kind, and helpful. I think they have a very difficult job but are unfailingly polite. I could not ask for more. Just wished to comment on an exceptional service that Mulgrave Road surgery gives in all areas that I have had to use. The staff in the reception area are always polite friendly and helpful. Taking time to try and answer any query that I have. The doctor that I see is always so helpful and thorough and makes me feel at ease. Nothing seems to be too much trouble although of course she has limited time but she never makes me feel rushed and she is always friendly. | ||||||
