I phoned the surgery with concerns of discomfort in my back and both arms, having problems breathing and sweathing (as I thought was a seafood reaction). I was put through to a particular doctor and she questioned me about my symptons. As I was going on holiday I thought I may need medication and an Epi-pen for future reactions. After answering her questions the doctor said it sounded like cardiac symptons and if I were in her surgery she would have sent for an ambulance. I took her advice and my partner drove me to Epsom General Hospital immediately and I relaid the information the doctor had told me. I was rushed into A&E and admitted to hospital with a Heart Attack. I was then transferred to Harefield hospital for an angeogram and two stents were inserted as I had a blocked valve. I am extremely grateful to the doctor for her quick reaction to my telephone call which has given me a better quality of life and in my opinion she is an extremely professional Dr in in her field. Her reaction and advice was very professional and relaid in a calm manner. I have been registered with the surgery for over 30 years and have always found the staff efficient and professional. | ||||||

I went in for my appointment and was advised that the doctor was running slightly late - not a problem, it is hard to predict how long a consultation is going to take and it was only a matter of minutes past my appointment time before I was seen. The receptionist was very polite and friendly.
The GP I saw was kind, caring and took a genuine interest in my wellbeing. I felt very reassured after my appointment and would have no hesitation in requesting an appointment with that GP again. I have been coming to this practice for about 30 years and it improves year on year. I get seen pretty quickly, the GPs cover for each other when one is ill and I can normally get an appointment in the morning if I am feeling poorly. One of the better GP practices around. | ||||||
