I do not know which surgery some of the reviews are for in some of the comments. My experience with this surgery has gone from good to dismally abysmal. For a start, I think all the receptionists leave their brain at home before coming to work. For God sake they need some better training, they are not up to scratch. Why one has to give every thing confidential about them to the receptionist. I would like to email my complaint to the practice manager, they will not tell me who that person is furthermore they will not give me his/hers email. I have very little good to say about them. |

I have been attending the surgery for nearly 2 years. The GPS are phenomenal, the staff are helpful and generally I have always had a good experience.
I am sad to read some comments, the staff are always working as hard as they can. Some need to realise that services like these are stretched to the bone and do the best they can every day.
I would highly recommend this practice |

Waited 2 weeks for an appointment. Arrived over 10 minutes early to ensure I did not keep the doctor waiting. 45 minutes later I asked why I was still waiting, to be told the doctor had had an emergency - not the first time I have heard that excuse. These GPs only see patients by appointment and don't go out on house calls at the same time. How do they always manage to have emergencies first thing in the mornings? How do these other patients manage to get emergency appointments - I never can! Reception staff generally need an attitude transplant! If they know the doctor is running so very late, why can't patients be telephoned and advised to come at a later time or the other doctors take some of the work load? Appointment slots are only 10 minutes and it's fairly rare to even be with the doctor that long yet it is also rare to be seen on time. On one occasion I rang to try and cancel an appointment and after holding for 20 minutes had a recorded message to tell me I was number 18 in the queue. |
