I am a local and frequent patient of Moordown medical centre. Mainly as a type 1 diabetic since 1989, I have had a few doctors as my main doctors and various great stop in one's too. I have seen the surgery grow through the changes over the years. I have also been very proud to receive outstanding treatment under the doctor. I am writing this after a small surgery following a ingrown nail removal. The surgery is always spotless the procedure is always explained in full as well as various comfort checks made. I not only recommend the surgery but believe it to be one of not the best in the south west I have access to. So 10/10 considering the NHS hardships it's faced and it's absolutely in my opinion my life saver! - Alexander S C Jones |

I have recently joined this surgery, reluctantly at first as I was at my former surgery for 25 years but I am so happy with this surgery. The reception staff are very approachable, kind and helpful. This makes such a difference to someone feeling unwell and vulnerable. Nothing is too much trouble for them and I feel they genuinely care. I have had to go off sick due to overwhelming stress at work so I am feeling very worried about time off etc. The ladies on reception, one, in particular, and the assistant practice manager, have been understanding and gentle with me which has been very calming. Having friendly respectful and kind people manning reception is of course an obvious requirement one would think, but this team are unusually good at their jobs. Thank you ladies for maintaining such high standards. It really makes a difference. |
