I love the Doctors at this surgery but not the current receptions. Most of them have an attitude problem, where they make you feel that you are not welcome at all if you have issues and dare to call them.
When we joined the surgery the situation was great and never seen that helpful staff.
2 weeks ago they suggested that I am not allowed to order medication over the phone, however all repeat prescription has written notes, to call the surgery and order a new prescription by phone after 11 am.
This week I need urgent help with my old ill mum, where the main Gp Kindly visited us.
The prescription had an error on it, so the Pharmacist told me, to ask the surgery to correct the paperwork. My mum needed this medication immediately but taken me nearly the whole day to get it due to the reception at surgery.
They kept saying that I have to take the prescription to another pharmacy. I told them that I cant do this, because the item on it is not correct, so I can go to any pharmacy, it will not be available, as the item does not exist.
They kept saying that I am wrong and I should go to other pharmacies ( bare in mind, I had triplets at home and a mum who couldn't walk or move).
They said they will look into this and call me back.
I asked them at 2.50pm again to call me, and just before 5 I called again, but none of them knew anything.
The 3 rd receptionist put me on hold for over 20 minutes then said, "opps I am sorry, I didn't know you are still waiting". They left me waiting as they forgotten about me on the line. I had 3 kids and a sick mother at home, where the Gp came out, but the full experience was actually a joke.
Finally my husband had to leave work, travel in to pick up a new prescription, and then we got the medication for my mum after 6pm, from the same Pharmacy.
The problem is that seems like they do not care, they apologise, but they have zero interest to help or resolve anything. I am not interested in fake apologies, sorry.
They are more interested in discussing their diet needs, what diet they will go on, and just sitting around. Last time patient was waiting while they were discussing this. Why is the arrogant attitude, I feel ashamed that I dare to turn up and bother them with a. question, while the Gps are fantastic! Such a shame on the surgery.
I think reception should be more helpful and at least call back if it was promised, especially in emergency.
I was thankful that the doctor could come out however the whole help was ruined by the staff at surgery, who has a cant be bothered attitude.
I left a 5 star review before, and I have other and better things to do then this review, but I am really angry how they treated me, my mum and didn't care I had 3 kids and a sick mum at home and never called back |

Both medical and admin staff in this surgery really work hard to deliver best care for the patients. I've been always treated in the best way possible. |
