I have just returned from the annual flu jab process, this year conducted at Corfe Hills School. The organisation was seamless and informative. I was in and out with the minimum waiting time. Thank you for the system , the personnel and the protection from the vaccination. Jan Reeves. |

I've finally got to the point where I will move to another surgery. The reception staff are incredibly unhelpful and more often than not are just keen to get you off the phone. Its almost like they are encouraged to ensure they reduce the number of appointments being made.
If you call up and try to make an appointment they say they have none until the week after. They do suggest that you try calling after 1:00 pm or first thing in the morning for cancellations. It's almost like they have an un-official, internal policy to only release a certain number of appointments and block the rest out, just in case.
Being told to wait a week for a doctor is third world. I only call up when I need to see a doctor and I'm happy to wait a day or two. If its an emergency, I'd call 101 or 999. I could complain to the practice but in reality they are policing themselves so I doubt it would have any effect.
Avoid and look for another practice. I know I am. |
