I had an appointment with the GP today, when I arrived I needed to change my baby’s nappy - when I asked if there were changing facilities all I was offered was the disabled toilet floor!!
Surely a doctors surgery would have changing facilities available considering the amount of baby’s that frequent the surgery? I have been coming to this practise for many years with both my parents. The doctors have always been approachable and understanding. Whenever I have required an appointment even short notice they have been able to accommodate. I have been so impressed with this surgery I have now changed to them myself. I'm furious with this surgery. I have several conditions that need regular checkups and prescriptions, but i can never get in to see any doctor, let alone my own doctor. i've had to resort to writing letters asking for prescriptions and referrals which is ridiculous as i never actually get examined. i work mon-fri 8:45-5:30 so its difficult for me to see someone anyway, but their lack of late night appointments and being closed on my lunch break every time is stupid. Ive seen 2 doctors, and the first one didnt really care about my symptoms or the fact id been dealing with these symptoms for almost a year without anyone helping me. They told me to drink lots of water! the second doctor atleast examined me and put me in for tests, but kept giving me the same antibiotics over and over even though they didnt work. I can't ever seem to book an appointment in advance as they consistently say they are full up, i have to ring in the morning at 8:30am, however i work, and this doesnt guarantee me an appointment anyway. I will be moving from this surgery as soon as i possibly can and dont recommend it to anyone! | ||||||
