Wessex Road Surgery

Waited until 30 mins beyond my appointment to ask is there a hold up which I believe should be something the receptionist should letting you know on arrival if the doctor is running behind told I couldn’t phone to make a appointment had to do it online even though I explained it wasn’t working and the worst part about my whole time there was to overhear a cancer patient was sent away to make an appointment online even though he said he was struggling the surgery is getting worse as the months go by it’s like they don’t want to see patients anymore

I’ve never been a patient of any worse clinic in my entire life. This is the second time I register with them since it’s the closest surgery to where I live, but they are so unbelievable that I’m leaving again. I received a text saying that any appointment should be requested through an online form, which I filled. A long on-line form which I took my time to fill explaining that I have swollen legs, poor blood circulation and shortness of breath. Not sure how a person in a more critical condition or an elderly person would be able to fill an online form to request an appointment. Anyway, on the next day I received a text message saying that my situation was seen as non-critical, so they would contact me within 4 business days to book an appointment. They haven’t been in contact until today, March 29th, when I’ve just received a text to inform that I’m on a waiting list for a routine appointment. If a person with swollen legs, poor blood circulation and shortness of breath is treated this way, I would think twice if I was you before joining this surgery. Be careful as they are clearly not well prepared, unprofessional and not following their duty of care. Once again, I’m having to leave them and look for another clinic. Maybe not close to where I live, but where I know I will be treated with respect and humanity. A clinic I can trust my health with. Definitely not this place.
