I have been with this practise for years, but am now making arrangements to leave. The attitude of the doctors is unbelievable. They are right, everybody else is an idiot. They used to have some really good doctors there. So much so, that when I moved out of the area, I stayed with them. God knows where they are getting their doctors from nowadays. For things to work, you have to be able to trust your doctor. I, for one, no longer do. I have lost that trust, especially with their Dr R Smith. If you get an appointment with her, I suggest you give it a miss. Ironically, I have found you get a much better, caring, service when you deal with the Nurses. They at least seem to listen, something the doctors feel they are to important to do. I do have to disagree with many reviewers about the receptionists at Marine. I have always found them to be quite helpful. Maybe I've just been lucky, but over the years, I've never once had a problem with reception. |

Don’t you just hate it when a Doctor talks down to you is extremely patronising and condescending.. assumes you have no standard of education and assumes that she’s the only important person in the room coz ‘She’s the Doctor’ ??..How many absolutely diabolical medical blunders have their been over the years due to medical ‘Doctor’ blunders?.and don’t you just Hate it when doctors constantly feel it’s ok to fill a 93 year old woman with 200 mg twice a day for 7 days for a UTI a dose prescribed by Michelle Cooke that nearly killed my mother!!. So. your not higher than Jesus Christ Dr Sian Dawes or any of your staff.. there is no personal touch ..I ask you if you actually know my mother to keep prescribing these overdoses of Antibiotics and it was Ironic that you said ‘No you had never met’ my mum therefore she’s just a number but to us she a queen and the glue to our family. Anyone reading this get a Power of Attorney for you mother or these Doctors will have free reign to poison your parents and all you can do is watch.??..or keep fighting.. |

Absolutely gutted by the service they provide, the reception is a complete mess, they linked a completely different baby to the Mrs registration, we have a boy, but according to their records we have a girl. Totally unacceptable. They also keep canceling appointments with or without letting us know, It is a total disgrace when they called last week 10 mins before to cancel the actual appointment. Today again we have been let down the reception. After 20 mins of arguing with the receptionist and her supervisor we have been told that we have no appointment for vaccination today, however last week they called us with this appointment because they changed it. The supervisor said she is sorry that is the most she can do. Her sorry means nothing to me, I don't want her sorry, I want someone who actually cares about my 8 weeks old son. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT USE THIS SURGERY! I am considering to even go as far as the Health Service Ombudsman to make a complain on the surgery. |
