Just moved into the area and registered only a few days previously. Had an existing minor medical problem and followed the online portal request for a telephone appointment. I was phoned the next day by Doctor Hill (?) who was very polite and professional and dealt with my issue in a kind but thorough manner. I was subsequently referred for physiotherapy the next week which I must say was far quicker than my GP in my previous address. Very impressed so far. Staff at reception are lovely, very helpful, understanding and patient. Thank you everyone at HEMC. | ||||||

Excellent service, Phoned at 3.30pm had appointment at 4pm with Duty Doctor. Receptionist was very helpful in organising the appointment at short notice on a Friday afternoon. We don't hear enough about the good our GP practice's do. | ||||||

I had an appt today which i had a reminder via text. Because of a hospital visit , as instructed, I text CANCEL to the number in text. I done this twice because I did not receive a response. I also phoned twice to confirm cancellation but was put on hold for ages and quite honestly I was not prepared to use my mobile for that long. I have now received a text to say I missed appt. Not happy! Please amend your records to show I did cancel appt. Perhaps you need to reassess the system you use. Our text reminder system is automated, with the ability to reply with "CANCEL" to cancel an appointment. However, if your reply is within an hour of the appointment time, the automated system won't allow you to cancel as it is too short notice. We can't actually tie your message here up with any texts received yesterday, as all the cancellations received are showing as successful, but we are happy to investigate this further if you'd like to provide us with your contact details. | ||||||
