I visited yesterday and very disappointed. I felt as if I did crime by visiting the gp. Could not speak my health issue and just gave up and ask for blood test and removal coil. Being doctor dealing with the patient with care not for TITLE. We are contributing system by paying TAX AND NI but not receiving right approach and treatment. Scaring to talk doctor to tell health problem. What a shame. Also they could not find HANDED my operation REPORT on the system. No clues at all. |

I work away so needed to make a future appointment (in 3 weeks as I have to book a day off work). I was advised that they no longer book appointments and I had to ring up at 8.00am in the morning to book an emergency appointment. I explained this would not work as I work away and would not be able to get there in a day appointment. They then suggested I download app (no smartphone). I was told that at 6.pm they will release a few appointments for next 5 days (again for the second time.... I work away and need to book a day off in about 3 weeks) I was then told to do an econsult which I did and it came back as send photos (no smart phone.......) Even if I did get through to a doctor via econsult they I would not be able to book a future appointment so I am essentially trapped in a never ending circle. I ended up paying £120 to see a doctor privately. Pity the people who cannot afford the luxury of doing so or the elderly who do not have technology required or if they were only able to get help to the surgery on future dates. Shame on you Stubbington Medical Practice. I am currently trying to find another surgery to go to. |

After changing address I was told I needed to find a new surgery. I was told by the new surgery I would need 4 weeks worth of medication if I was on any because it can take that long for the new doctors surgery to be able to give me the medication. I requested a repeat prescription on medication I had been taking for over a month, online with a note stating why I needed this medication (which they already knew as I've had several emergency appointments with them due to my condition) and it was rejected. When I requested the medication I was still a patient at this doctors and find it absolutely disgusting that you can deny someone tablets that can risk their health and possible life. A doctor would have read my request and read my notes before denying my medication knowing full well the reasons for the medication and the devastating affects it would cause without it. A simple phone call to me explaining my other options would of changed this whole situation but nothing. Of course I understand the surgery is under staffed and over run but we also have a right to the correct health care. Hopefully I can find the care I deserve at my next surgery, but i hope you don't leave any other poor person suffering without the medication they NEED. |
