As an infrequent user of NHS services in general, one always hears in the media of horror stories and dissatisfaction with GPs surgeries.
I have to say I felt the overall experience with Tywford Surgery this morning was exceptionally positive, from my initial telephone request for an appointment, the reception at the Sugrery when I arrived, and the thorough and thoughtful attention by the doctor during the consultation.

Myself and my family have used the Twyford surgery over the last 15 years and have never had cause to complain.
Obviously you cannot always get an appointment precisely when you want, but anyone who has an issue with this should not blame the surgery, as this is simply inevitable with free at the point of use health care; I have never had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for an appointment.
Staff are invariably courteous and, almost always, utterly charming. Frankly how they do what they do and maintain their sense of humour amazes me.
Medical advice received by myself and family members has always been relevant, sensible and appropriate to the individual and situation.
I feel very lucky to enjoy such an excellent local medical practice. | ||||||

I have been very fortunate to be registered at Twyford Surgery. Due to some significant health issues, I needed to see the GPs regularly at various points in the last few years. I find it easy to book an appointment with the GP of my choice within about a week online and the GP I see is fantastic - respectful, listens and is professional. | ||||||
