Having been registered with the Hook practice for over 30 years I find the service has disappeared over the years. I tried to book an appointment yesterday but all the appointments were taken by 9:30am. Clearly I needed to be I’ll earlier as I learnt today that phoning for an appointment this morning from 8am took after 20 redials just to join the queue and the appointment with the doctor that they could see yesterday had been taken so I had to see a doctor who did not have the specialist equipment in a different surgery. Just as well the public transport is so good between Hook and Hartley Wintney. As the doctor did not have the equipment available yes you have quested it I have to have another appointment. This could have been completed on line over the phone as there was no diagnosis given. I mentioned the problems with booking an appointment and was told this was not the doctors problem it was an issue for management. Can’t wait to repeat the next month. It would be nice to have an appointment in Hook but was told there were not any. Have I missed the closure of the practice in Hook. |

I have been a patient of the practice in this location for over 30 years, and am very happy with this practice. I have always been treated with courtesy and consideration. Under current circumstances, the practice has responded well in my view, and put in place the best continuing access that is safe for all parties. |

After a visit for a medication review I found myself leaving the GP feeling very disappointed and displeased. I felt patronised and talked down to as if I were a child.
What I was being told was, to coin a phrase “ like telling your grandmother to suck eggs”
I was not aware that a medication review entailed being talked down to and belittled.
The GP I visited was my named GP but I will not be seeing that person again.
I will visit the other GPs until I find a proactive one that I can work with and have a patient GP relationship and not a dictatorship.
Advice and care is one thing but I will not tolerate patronisation.
I have only been with the surgery for just over four years and i have had no other issues regarding my experiences with the practice. In fact up until the said incident I would have said they were a brilliant health care facility. |
