I have recently changed to The Waterfield Practice and I felt the need to review as I have seen many negative reviews regarding this GP Practice. I have had a very positive experience so far from both GP and the Nurses at this surgery (Ralph’s Ride). From telephone contact to blood test results, follow ups and texts. I cannot fault them at all. I no longer feel like a name on a screen and genuinely feel like I am receiving care which is a complete turnaround from my previous GP who I have been unable to receive any care since lockdown. All staff have been helpful and quick to respond, this is so refreshing as I was starting to feel that the Personal care from my GP was a thing of the past. Under difficult circumstances, the team here having continuity of care and a very understanding approach to our difficult times. Well done and thank you. |

Firstly, I would like to say that the service provided by the surgery, both reception and GPs, is typically good. However, I have significant issues with using the telephone system to make contact with the practice. The several minutes delay of listening to general messages before being able to select the required service is extremely frustrating, and wasteful of my time, especially when needing to contact the surgery on a frequent basis. Please can you add the facility to your answering system to allow the caller to skip straight to the service selection options when the call is answered, I feel sure this should be possible with a modern call handling system. |

Today the 19/03/2021 I had a consultation with Dr Ball, which included an ECG, and the investigation was carried out by Amanda; the care and attention received from both was excellent. Alan Clements |
